CIEM orders entitlement risk across multi-cloud environments. The platform compares granted permissions with those actually exercised at runtime, flags over-privileged accounts, unmanaged or expired secrets and suspicious access patterns, and east-west traffic analysis shows the lateral movement risk created by over-permissive configurations. The Risks Hub correlates entitlements with other domains, for example a highly privileged IAM role with unrestricted access to services or an exposed API with a misconfigured role, and presents them as one attack path with remediation guidance.
